A really excellent book that has been given rave reviews by Carnival Glass Collectors. 3: Dugan and Diamond Carnival Glass 1909 - 1931 (identification and value guide), Dec 98, by Carl Burns, the third excellent carnival glass book from 1998. 4: American Slag Glass: Identification and values by Ruth Ann Grizel, June 1998. A very informative book about slag glass made in the USA. 5: Durand - the man and his glass by Edward J. Meschi, October 98. Great colour pictures and history of this major US glass artist of the early 20th century. 6: Anchor Hocking's Fire King and More by Gene Florence, May 1998. Well recommended and popular book.

Very informative, great pictures. 8: Venetian Glass: Confections in Glass 1855-1914 by Sheldon Barr, a lovely book with superb pictures and information on Venetian glassmakers. 9: Marbles : Identification and Price Guide 2nd edition, (March 98, Schiffer) by Robert Block. Another useful book for marble collectors. 10: Antique Lamp Buyer's Guide : Identifying Late 19th and Early 20th Century American Lighting (Feb 98) by Nadja Maril, a Schiffer Book for Collectors. 11: Collecting Carnival Glass (July 1998) by Marion Quintin-Baxendale. A useful paperback with color pictures, company histories, line drawings and price guide. 12: Crystal Stemware Identification Guide by Bob Page & Dale Frederiksen, (Jan 1998). Covers 400 manufacturers & identifies over 4000 patterns. Good reviews.
